FREE OSHA Training - Introduction to Safety & Health Management
The University of Texas at Arlington will be conducting a free OSHA training in Amarillo on April 24th in honor of Worker Memorial Day. The full-day course will be hosted by the Panhandle of Texas Chapter at the Amarillo College Downtown Campus. Lunch will be provided and .75 CEUs are available.
Course: Introduction to Safety & Health Management
Course Description: This course covers the effective implementation of a company's safety and health management system. The course addresses the four core elements of an effective safety and health management system and those central issues that are critical to each element's proper management. This course is an interactive training session focusing on class discussion and workshops. Upon course completion students will have the ability to evaluate, develop, and implement an effective safety and health management system for their company.
Learn how to:
- Discuss the key elements of a successful I2P2
- Explain the benefits of implementing a safety and health management system.
- Identify the core elements of an effective safety and health program.
- Describe the key processes in each program element.
